basking in the euphoria of the wide acceptance and huge success her debut song
and video “If U Don’t Know”, CocoIce
is set to build on these trend by releasing 3 massive singles to finally
establish herself and consolidate her position as a talented rap diva to
contest with.
According to
‘Biodun Caston-Dada, the A & R Director of MAGiKAL Entertainment which currently handles her management, “we
were stunned by the wide acceptance CocoIce
received and the heavy rotation her video had been enjoying since it was
released barely two weeks ago and we really wanted to consolidate on these.
Though we know she is very talented, charismatic and a pretty artiste and these
are the qualities we saw in her before signing her up”.
Billed to be
released come July 1st includes club rocking jamz with the like of “It’s Me” produced by H-Code, “Azonto Thinz” produced by Detunes
and “If U Don’t Know (the refined
mix)” also produced by H-Code”.
However, the
management dimmed it fit for a prompt construction of a website (www.cocoicenaija.com) and an online platform via Facebook and Twitter giving her fans the
opportunity to interact with her. It will also keep fans abreast of latest
happening as regards studio sessions, songs, videos, downloads, themes,
wallpapers, pictures, merchandise, ringtones and online promotions.
Caston
further noted that MAGiKAL Entertainment
is building CocoIce into a global
brand and not just for the Nigerian market alone through series of online
promotions where fans can win various prizes such as BlackBerry phones, CocoIce
Tank Tops/T.Shirts, Recharge Cards, Champagne, Movie Tickets, Hair Extensions/Weave-on.
As part of
the online promo, there will also be a weekly “Twitter Fan of The Week”. This
is packaged for her Twitter fans who are celebrating their birthday in that
week. One person will be picked via a weekly trivia. The winner will get a
Birthday cake, Champagne, CocoIce Tank Top/T.Shirt, Autograph CD and Posters
among other prizes.
With less
than one month of her entry into the Nigeria music scene, CocoIce had clinched a deal with House of Style owned by Monique
Okonkwo who is now her official clothing boutique and talks is going with a Human
Hair Extension company who is very much interested in working with her.
