Hip-hop music sensation, Durella, last Friday hooked up with his teeming fans and millions of viewers on Episode 6 of Glo Presents The Big Friday Show.
The
artiste, popularly known as King of Zanga, was the Celebrity Guest of
the Week on the lifestyle entertainment television programme produced by
leading entertainment television MTV Base and sponsored by Globacom.
The
fast-paced entertainment programme runs every Friday at 6 .00 p.m. on
Silverbird Television (STV), at 7.30 p.m. on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322)
and on Wednesdays on African Independent Television (AIT). It is also
shown on ORTB (Benin Republic) and ViaSat1 (Ghana).
Last Friday’s edition featured regular segments such as the Top 10 music Video Countdown, The Celebrity Meets where a lucky fan gets to meet his favourite celebrity and Prank Yo Peoples where
a Glo subscriber nominates a friend to be pranked with help from the
Big Friday Show crew, amongst other exciting highlights.
The featured up-coming artiste for the week was Kamar. Other new artistes who have so far been featured on the show are Shun Don, DIZZY and M-FLOW.
Viewers
were also given the chance to suggest celebrities they would like to
see interviewed on the show, and to send questions to their favourite
celebrity by SMS or MMS to get their questions answered directly on the
show.
Glo Presents The Big Friday Show also
offers viewers an opportunity to prank their friends by sending in
their home videos by MMS or by uploading onto Facebook; the funniest
clips will be played on the show. The overall best prank clip will stand
a chance to win a grand prize of US $2000 at the end of the series.
Glo
subscribers in Nigeria, Ghana and Benin will additionally have the
opportunity to win prizes including weekly recharge cards, Glo high
speed internet modems, high-end Blackberry handsets and Glo SIMs.
